What we do...
The beginning of any new project can be daunting.
"Where do I start?" "What do I want?" "What is the Goal?" "What will it look like?" "I'm not ready to build yet, I just want to explore my idea."
These are just a few of the many questions you must be asking yourself.
Our goal is to help you design the initial concept for your project. Then hand it over to others to finalize and start building. It's true that architects, engineers and contractors can do that for you. However, these come with premium price tags for just the initial design work! Simply figuring out what you want can literally cost you thousands of dollars. Perhaps even 10's of thousands on a larger project. Most design firms will charge you between $75-$100 / PER HOUR! Not us. Our pricing is a straight forward flat fee structure that has no surprises. Our hourly rate policy only applies to design revisions made after the initial concept has been approved.
We will walk you through the early designing phase of your project to develop a clear vision. We use state-of-the-art, industry standard CADD and 3D Modeling software to accurately present a clear vision of your project to future design/construction professionals. This ensures that everyone is on the same page (YOUR PAGE) right from the start.
You will receive a high quality, bound set of full color design documents in large 11"x17" format. Additionally, you can also receive all of the files digitally to aid you in your bidding process, if desired.
Of course, nothing is set in stone. While moving forward with the other professionals, you will be free to refine and adjust things as you wish.
We're all juggling busy schedules. That's why we are constantly looking for new ways to make life easier and more enjoyable for our clients. We welcome any feedback from everyone we work with and strongly consider your input. Our goal is to take the hassle and stress out of getting your project off on the right foot.

About the owner...
Hello!
We all have our passions in life. Serving others, design and aviation are mine! I knew from a very early age that I loved to draw and build things. My Legos were more than toys to me. My parents could see that there was something else going on in my head when I was building boats and spaceships. I drew my first floor plan for a class in just the sixth grade which I still have to this day. (I got an A+ on it, I might add!). A few years later, I took three years of technical drafting classes in high school, earning Friendswood High School's Industrial Technology Student of the Year Award in 1996. GO MUSTANGS! (FHS Class of 1996)
I went on to attend The University of Texas at Arlington, School of Architecture, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Design - 2002. While in college, I also joined
Air Force ROTC ("Cross-town" program at TCU), following my family's multigenerational legacy of military aviators. I commissioned into active duty upon graduating as a Second Lieutenant, with a pilot slot to Laughlin AFB, Del Rio TX.
After flying jets for a while, I eventually transitioned to Civil Engineering. I earned my USAF Civil Engineer Badge while attending the Air Force's Air University, located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton OH, serving with the 341st Civil Engineering Squadron at Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls MT. There, I maintained support facilities for our nuclear ICBM's and served on the nuclear missile's Emergency Response Command Battle Staff.
Eventually, I honorably separated from the military as a Captain and went on to work with such notable engineering/design firms like Parsons Engineering in San Antonio, TX and Quorum Architects in Fort Worth, TX. I have designed and overseen the construction of everything from missile launch facilities in Montana, munitions bunkers in Alaska, to commercial and Institutional projects, restaurants, retail stores, home renovations and everything in between.
With a passion to continue serving others, I became a police officer for the city of Plano, TX. I served the community there on patrol for 13 years, earning my Master Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
Sticking with the life theme of serving my community... I am also a TX DPS Licensed Level-III (Armed Security) and in my free time, I am a state licensed driving instructor at Drivers Test Now driving school in Frisco, TX.
Throughout all of this, I never stopped constantly drawing and designing a spectrum of various projects for myself, family, friends and loved ones. It was at their suggestion, support and encouragement that led me to start Inception Studio... to serve you!
I sincerely look forward to providing you with the same care and personalized attention that I have provided my country, community and those dearest to me.
